Our native asters provide a cavalcade of colors at this time of year. Ideal for garden beds, containers, or natural meadows, they are reliably hardy, low-maintenance, and very eye-catching. Learn which varieties do best in sun, shade, moist, or dry conditions. View over 15 species in our meadow, including New England asters, white wood aster, and Mt. Cuba Center introduction Bluebird smooth blue aster. Leave with a list of hardy options to enliven your garden.
