A Tasting Journey of Modern Wild and Sour Ales

Wild and sour ales have been around for centuries, but modern production techniques have made them more widely available for consumption. Start with a brief overview of the history of these unique beers, then learn about the brewing and fermentation processes that include the use of natural, wild strains of yeast. Complete the experience with a sampling of two different styles of ale and a discussion of the distinct tasting notes for each. (Ages 21 and over.)
