Turn your yard into a healthy, robust habitat that supports native plants and local wildlife! Work alongside Mt. Cuba Center's Natural Lands staff in this hands-on, two-part series as they take you through the process, from site analysis and plant selection to preparing and planting an area using sustainable ecological practices. Class runs rain or shine. Dress for working in the field, and bring water and insect repellent.
This class qualifies for the following professional credits: 4 APLD, 3 CNP credits with DNLA, DE Nutrient Management, DE Pest Credits, ISA, and PA Pest Credits. Six professional development hours (PDH) have been approved for this class through LA CES. This class meets LA CES standards for HSW subject matter.
