Hedgerows for Pollinators

Hedgerows are "living fences" that provide visual screens and windbreaks between neighbors. When composed of wildlife-friendly perennials, shrubs, and trees, they can provide shelter and food for a host of insects and animals and become a travel lane for migratory birds. Kelly Gill of the Xerxes Society presents the steps in planning, site preparation, and planting a pollinator hedgerow on your property.  

This class qualifies for the following professional credits: 3 APLD, 1 CNP credit with DNLA, ISA, and 3 NOFA AOLCP. Three professional development hours (PDH) have been approved for this class through LA CES. This class meets LA CES standards for HSW subject matter.
