Throughout the ages, gardens have provided places of solace and beauty that nourish us, sustain our souls, and support our health and wellbeing. Explore the healing aspects of gardens on a sensory walk while discussing medicinal properties of local plants and engaging the senses of sight, sound, touch, taste, and the heart. Leave with the skills to start your own healing-garden journal.
Mt. Cuba Center advises consulting your health care professional before using any herbal medicines. While many medicinal plants also have culinary uses, just as many are poisonous if not prepared correctly.
