Don't miss this rare opportunity to work with Annie Guilfoyle, an award-winning garden designer from London, England. In this information-filled workshop, Annie introduces students to the design process and problem-solving techniques, leading to a basic conceptual layout for your garden. Through discussion, hands-on designing, and individual direction, learn where to find inspiration, how to assess your site, and delve into creative approaches to structuring the garden. The day also includes an introduction to making wise plant selections. Leave with a plan in progress from which to continue your design explorations.

Annie Guilfoyle is an award-winning garden designer and principal of Creative Landscapes in West Sussex (UK). Her design style varies from contemporary to traditional and urban to rural. She teaches at Great Dixter, UK, lectures throughout Europe and the USA, and is a regular contributor to Gardens Illustrated. She has been commissioned to write a book on the creative approach to garden design.

This class qualifies for the following professional credits: 2.5 APLD, 1 CNP credit with DNLA, ISA, 4 NOFA AOLCP, and PLNA. Five professional development hours (PDH) have been approved for this class through LA CES. This class meets LA CES standards for HSW subject matter.
