Designing With Native Mosses

Alice Waegel, a retired biology professor, presents both innovative and classic approaches to landscaping with native mosses. Examples from regional gardens show you how to mingle native perennials with mosses; select the best moss species for beauty, color, texture, and ease of maintenance; and create a miniature moss landscape in a container. The class concludes with a tour of the mossy woodland gardens at Mt. Cuba Center.
This class qualifies for the following professional credits: 1.5 APLD, 2 NOFA AOLCP and 2 PLNA. LA CES has approved this class for 2 professional development hours (PDH). This class meets LA CES standards for HSW subject matter.
