Attracting Birds with Water Features

Not all our feathered friends will visit bird feeders, but they all need water. Ian Stewart, an ornithologist at the Delaware Nature Society, discusses the importance of providing food, shelter, nesting sites, and water sources for creating the ultimate backyard habitat for birds. Learn how to source and properly maintain bird baths, bubblers, small fountains, and other aquatic features that will bring new and unexpected species of birds to your yard.
This class qualifies for the following professional credits: 2 APLD, 1 CNP credit with DNLA and 2 NOFA AOLCP. Two professional development hours (PDH) have been approved for this class through LA CES. This class meets LA CES standards for HSW subject matter.
