|Dates:||June 8, 2019|
|Meets:||Sa from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM|
|Location:||Main House Wet Lab|
With Scott Kelley and William Trescott
Proper early care and pruning leads to healthier and longer-lived trees. Join Scott Kelley and Bill Trescott, Mt. Cuba Center's ISA Certified Arborists®, as they discuss how to make wise health-care decisions for trees of different ages and demonstrate professional pruning techniques. The morning lecture and demonstrations are followed by an afternoon workshop with supervised, hands-on pruning of various tree species. Leave with a pruning plan for keeping your trees strong, healthy, and looking great. Please bring lunch and sharpened hand pruners.
Please bring lunch, pruners, gloves, and plenty of water in case it is hot - refillable water bottle is best (we have water coolers available). This class qualifies for the following professional credits: 1 CNP credit with DNLA, ISA, and 3.5 NOFA AOLCP.
