Watch out for wicked plants! Gardening, hiking, and foraging are rewarding and enjoyable activities, but be warned: there are plants out there that are potentially deadly! Mark Manning presents the basics of identification, natural history, and toxicity of some of the most common poisonous plants in our area. Learn which ones to avoid touching and consuming and which ones must be kept away from pets and children!
Rain date for this class is Saturday, July 20, 2019. This class qualifies for the following professional credits: 2 APLD, 1 CNP credit with DNLA and 2 NOFA AOLCP. Two professional development hours (PDH) have been approved for this class through LA CES. This class meets LA CES standards for HSW subject matter.
