Mark has a B.S. in Environmental Science and Chemistry from Rider University, and is a teacher of chemistry and toxicology at Hopewell Valley Central High School in Mercer County, New Jersey. He has volunteered his time as a naturalist for Friends of Hopewell Valley Open Space, as well as other conservation organizations in New Jersey. Mark designed an interpretive program for his toxicology class, teaching students in the field about poisonous plants and their edible look-alikes. He is also an avid birder and field herper. His greatest passion is exploring the outdoors with his family.
