Instructor Information

Renee Kemmerer
Renée is Mt. Cuba Center's Upper Naturalistic Gardens Horticulturist who continues her lifelong dream of working with native plants and exploring their natural communities. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware.

Marcie Weigelt
Marcie is the Lower Naturalistic Gardens Horticulturist at Mt. Cuba Center where she develops, maintains, and showcases our exceptional pond landscapes. She is also an experienced and avid moss and fern gardener.

Erin McCormick
Erin is an Associate Horticulturist in the Lower Naturalistic of Mt. Cuba Center and a member of the Plant Health Team. She is a graduate of the Longwood Gardens Professional Gardener Program and has over 15 years of experience.

Susan Boss
Sue is the Mt. Cuba Center Entrance Garden Horticulturist responsible for the gardens along the entrance drive. Previously, she was a gardener at Winterthur Museum, Garden and Library for 11 years.

Emily Tinalli
Emily is the Mt. Cuba Center Horticulturist responsible for the Meadow and bordering woodland gardens. She has a bachelor's degree in horticulture from Farmingdale State College. Emily enjoys chatting native plants with the public, wild land adventuring, and knitting.

Jordane Wiseman
Jordane has studied Visual Communications and Environmental Science. She is an Assistant Horticulturist at Mt. Cuba Center, working to restore landscapes that are as aesthetically pleasing as they are ecologically functional.

Julia Eppes
Julia is an Assistant Horticulturist working in the Formal Gardens at Mt. Cuba Center. She has a bachelor's degree in Anthropology with minors in Philosophy, Religious Studies, and Landscape Horticulture from the University of Delaware. She formerly interned at Winterthur Museum, Garden and Library and worked at Gateway Garden Center.
